Use the Copy button to copy the selected segment and store it into the Video Clipboard.

The copied clip could be later used as the input for an Insert operation.

To copy the currently selected video segment into the currently edited video, you may use the Paste button.

A Paste will copy the selected video segment and insert it into the currently edited video at the Insert Marker frame. This is equivalent to the combination of a Copy operation and a drag-and-drop operation on the same segment.
