Three push buttons are used for deleting a video segment. They are the Cut button, the Trim Left button and the Trim Right button.

All delete operations are based on the locations of the MarkIn and the MarkOut frames.

Logically, the two marker frames divide the complete video into three segments. The first segment, the beginning segment includes all frames before the MarkIn frame. The second segment, the selected segment includes the two marker frames and all frames within. The third segment, the ending segment includes all frames after the MarkOut frame.

A Cut deletes the currently selected segment; a Trim Left deletes the beginning segment; and a Trim Right deletes the ending segment.
